Eire

There were three kings who ruled the land fourteen hundred
years before the birth of Christ.  Their three  wives were
all women admired of the people.
The island was called by each of the wives names,
Eire, Banba and Fodhla.
But, only one name survived.
Eire!
Eire's Land.
Ireland.

This page is dedicated to Carol and Nick.

The candle has been lit for all the ladies of quiet courage
and great dignity, in the face of pain and discomfort.
These women inspire us with their ability to celebrate life.
Run with us for the CURE of breast cancer.

This tribute includes all husbands who love and support them.
